Main Goal: Thicker, Stronger Hair

I am on a serious no joke quest for thicker hair. I just don't want long hair, I want healthy thick hair. My main concern this year is to achieve the thickness I want. Months and Months back I had some breakage in the back of my hair due to switching relaxers, and a beautician. My hair broke so bad close to the roots. Since then it has grown out a lot, however it has not caught up yet to the rest of the length. My goal is to have all the hair catch up to the same length.

Ways To Achieve Goals:

  • Pre-poo a few times a month before washes.
  • Deep Condition, alternating weekly between mild protein conditioners, and moisturizing conditioners.
  • Co-Wash 2x a week.
  • Stretch relaxers as long as possible, 8-12 weeks.
  • Frequent trimming, to even out the length, and rid any split ends.
  • More protective hair styles, especially since it's very cold here in New York.
  • Moisturize ends nightly and seal with oil.
  • Try more natural hair products or remedies.
  • Find the perfect products that works for MY hair(I have some staples)

Ladies I know we have that closet or cabinet with tons and tons of products that we don't use. Products that don't do s*** for our hair type. I want to clean out my hair bin, and get rid of a lot of products that I don't use. It just takes up a lot of space.

Sounds like a plan! I'm on my own personal challenge this year as well. I hope I make all my goals this year.

yea ur hair is gorgeous and i love seeing dark skinned women with long hair cuz there r ignorant people that say dark skined women cant have long hair but thats not my poit.lol. u wrote u r gonna stretch ya relaxers. i used to do that and i realized that hair is more proned to breaking because of the two textures so hint hint on watching out for that but u should be good as long as u keep it moisturized.good luck
