You ask..what's the big deal with hair oils. Well, their an essential part of a good hair regimen in my opinion. There are so many benefits to using them you can't go wrong. Below are some of my favorite hair oils, and the benefits to using them.

Alma Oil
Alma Hair Oil is a type of hair oil that includes extracts from the Amla fruit. Amla is the Hindi name for the fruit. In Sanskirt the name of the fruit is Amalaki. The Alma fruit is famous for its rejuvenating properties for hair, skin and the body. Amla hair oil can usually be found in Indian spice or food shops.

Alma oil provides rejuvenation and healing for damaged or dry hair. It makes hair soft and lustrous, improving body and sheen. Regular application can assist in reducing split ends and minor hair loss. Alma Hair Oil has been the secret of beautiful hair in India and around the world for over 50 years.

Jojoba Oil
Jojoba oil (pronounced "ho-HO-bah") is the liquid wax produced in the seed of the Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) plant, a shrub native to southern Arizona, southern California and northwestern Mexico. Jojoba oil makes up approximately 50% of the jojoba seed by weight.

Treat your hair and scalp to a rejuvenating massage with Jojoba Oil - especially good for moisturizing the scalp and to prevent dry skin or dandruff. May be used as a leave in hair treatment while in the sun. Just an all around excellent moisturizer. This oil is great for extremely damaged hair that tends to break. Jojoba oil molecular structure is very similar to the natural oil produced by the sebaceous glands in the scalp. It replenishes dry, damaged hair.

Coconut Oil
Coconut oil, also known as coconut butter, is a tropical oil with many applications. It is extracted from copra (derived from the word "kopra" which means dried coconut)[citation needed]. Coconut oil constitutes seven percent of the total export income of the Philippines, the world's largest exporter of the product.

It also provides the essential proteins required for nourishing damaged hair. The molecular structure of coconut oil is perfect for penetrating inside the hair shaft. This oil is great for repairing dry, brittle and damaged hair. It's a great hair conditioner and moisturizer. It also moisturizes and softens hair.

Olive Oil
Olive oil is a fruit oil obtained from the olive (Olea europaea; family Oleaceae along with lilacs, jasmine and ash trees), a traditional tree crop of the Mediterranean Basin. The wild olive tree originated in Asia Minor, today the nation of Turkey.[1] It is commonly used in cooking, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and soaps and as a fuel for traditional oil lamps.

Olive oil nourishes, conditions, and improves the strength and elasticity of your hair. It penetrates the hair shaft, to help keep its natural moisture. It improves texture and manageability. It also helps prevent breakage and split ends.

Wheat Germ Oil
Wheat germ oil is extracted from the germ of the wheat kernel, which makes up only 2½% by weight of the kernel. Wheat germ oil is also very high in Vitamin E and has the highest content of Vitamin E of any food that did not undergo prior preparation or vitamin fortification.

This is a natural moisturizing oil. It provides essential nutrients- and tensioactive and lubricating components to restore the gloss and silkiness to hair. It also replenishes dry and damaged hair.
