Question: Do I really need to wash my hair every week?

Answer: No, just let your hair stay dirty; just kidding. Yes , I highly recommend it. Shampooing the hair is a great way to remove oil and dirt that causes build up. Using a great moisturizing shampoo can help replenish and moisturize without stripping the hair of its natural oil. When you don't wash often your scalp can become irritated and begin to itch. And when the dirt accumulates it builds up on the strand, causing your brush or comb to slow down creating a pulling affect which can snap hairs and cause breakage. I know if I don't wash my hair often it becomes stringy, weight down, and drier no matter how many products I use. So I always wash at least 1 a week. However, don't wash too often it can dry your hair out instead opt for "Conditioner Washes".

Im a 18 year old and im interested in going to cosmetology school. Is roller setting the best way to do your hair,AND Have u heard of the saran wrap treatment? I heard and watched the video by Macherie and it worked well. What do u think about it? Thanks

Hi Jerika,
In my opinion roller setting is a great way to style your hair, but there are other methods as well.

I watched the saran wrap video,It's a good technique but it didn't work well for my hair. I just wrap and use a satin or silk scarf.

Hi Lorraine is it safe to rollerset hair once a week. I thought that too much heat was not good. I currently flat iron my hair twice a month but would like to switch to rollersetting once a week. Please help.
